From a very young age Heyman lied his way into the world of wrestling making the right friends and basically forcing his way into meetings which he shouldn't have been in. Heyman had an amazing run over in the early WCW NWA days where he managed talent like stunning steve austin who, of course became the greatest wrestler to ever live Stone Cold Steve Austin, but his major achievement was bringing the small indie company of eastern championship wrestling to the big leagues by creating the grandaddy of extreme wrestling ECW. It was in ECW that some of today's biggest names had their first shots and were mentored by Heyman in many different ways. Names such as Mick Foley, RVD, Taz, Chris Jericho The Dudley Boys and Tommy Dreamer. But his days in WWE are where most young wrestling fans will remember him as the agent of Brock Lesner and CM Punk.
It is behind the scenes however which surprised me about the man, Heyman's passion and his intelligence and his pure swagger which got him to where he is today. He admits he had to lie and cheat to get himself through to the next day, the way he tried to keep ECW afloat, the way he got into wrestling and his stint on Smackdown's writing team where he created the best era in smackdown history making a brand that out did RAW in the ratings through out his time there.
The documentary is an eye opener and it makes you see Heyman in a whole new light and with two disks of some of the best promos you will ever see I urge you to go out and buy this DVD/Blu-Ray,
